Again this year the CBA offered bursaries to visit IBC in September 2012. Applications closed on the 14th May 2012 and successful applicants should be notified by May 31st. IBC’s general registration has also opened for anyone interested.
The CBA bursary covers the economy return airfare to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, five nights bed and breakfast accommodation and a daily subsistence allowance. In addition the successful applicant will have access to all conference proceedings and the exhibition. It will be the applicants’ responsibility to obtain a visa to visit the Netherlands. Letters of invitation will be provided. They will also be required to purchase the cheapest available airfare locally, the cost of which will be reimbursed by the CBA.
If you are aiming to attend IBC please quote 24076 when registering. This ensures that there is no change for entry (exhibition only) and enables us to know who from the CBA membership is present. The CBA stand number is 6.B02.
IBC is the largest international conference for the professional broadcast and media industry. The conferences will consist of technical papers, business and operational matters as well as programme related sessions. More information is available at www.ibc.org. There will be in excess of 1000 manufacturers and service providers exhibiting.
IBC takes place from the 6th until the 11th September 2012.
